Gabriel and Sawyer started sharing a room together in January. The logic was two fold: the hope for easier travel as in theory the boys would be used to one another's night time noises and that innate need as parents to torture our children with endless bonding time😁. It may have been a bit of a rough process, but I'm thankful to say they are (mostly) sleeping well in the same room.
The biggest blessing has been mornings. We wake up to the sound of giggles and singing as the boys simply play together until we come to get them. Sometimes 5 minutes, other times 55 minutes (they woke up that early this morning, someone needs to educate them on the joys of sleeping in). This morning we walked in to find Sawyer with an ice pack in his bed. Why, you might ask? Well. It seems Sawyer hit his booty on the side of the crib and Gabriel was concerned it might bruise. So he brought Sawyer an ice pack and spent quite a bit of time trying to convince Sawyer to sit on said ice pack. Brotherly love at it's finest.
