Thankful

It's been a bit of a rough start to 2015. Between my dad's time back at the hospital, our parked car getting smashed (oh street parking woes of chicago), the potty training debacle, my purse being stolen, pregnancy hormones and new roles at work picking up for both Ryan and myself...lets just say it makes sense to be near tears as I left an overwhelming day at work. And then I receive this:

Thank you, Lord, for the swap we have with the Saults. It's such a blessing to have another mom watching Gabe and loving on him, keeping him safe. Thank you for his wonderful smile and a husband I can text (who promptly replies to let me know Gabe's driving a pink car), for a husband who is able to put up with my crazy hormonal self. Thank you for careers where we are both able to make a difference and have an impact on those around us. Thank you for the fund to own a car and insurance to help us fix it. Thank you for parents who are alive and well...who love our son to pieces. Thank you for friends who pray when life is tough. Thank you for a home we love and a city where we can make an impact for you. Thank you, Lord. Thank you for helping me see just how blessed we are.
