On a happy happy note: Ryan received a promotion at work! Yup, you're looking at Mr. VP himself. So very proud of you, love. This has caused a few trips to come up with work and I found myself in need of a few helping hands while Ryan spent a week in New York. We were headed to MI anyway for vacation and what better hands to help than those of family:). Turned into a great week of catching up with grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and more.
AND I'm thrilled to say both boys handled the road trip like champs.
Still spent lots of time at the park. Those the parks in MI include creeks and lakes. And what little boy could resist throwing pine cones into said creeks and lakes. Seriously. We spent a lot of time throwing pine cones. Not sticks, not rocks. Pine cones.
Spent a day with family (love ya Aunt Cyn, Tonya and Tami...was really so wonderful to see you and your families. Wish we could do it more!)
Ahh Nana and Papa, we wouldn't have made it through the week without you. And yes, they're in the bathtub. Apparently it's a good hiding spot...
