Handsome Boy

Sawyer James has had a rather rough rough intro to being one. It took 2-3 days of a 102 fever, 5 days of waking in the middle of the night, 8 days of clinging and one rather bruised upper lip; BUT finally those elusive top teeth broke through. We are all very excited to move behind teething for a little while. First tooth at 8 month, second tooth at 10 months and third/fourth teeth at one year. Way to go, my Sawyer-man:)

On a happy / awe note Sawyer also got his first haircut! Ryan has been [patiently] waiting until Sawyer's first birthday for his first haircut...thank you, love. We took family pictures yesterday and thought haircuts all around were a good idea. Don't worry, you will continue to be my baby for years to come, Sawyer:p
