Happy Birthday, Gabe!!!

Gabe had an exciting and fun filled second birthday...or birth-days as it were:). He was able to open his first present over the weekend. A big thank you came over FaceTime for Noni and Pop as Gabe tried all the buttons and doors on his new play kitchen.

For his actual birthday, we spent part of the day working and Gabe was able to hand out treats to all his classmates as well as Pastor Joe and Ms. Jen. Ms. Jen was even thoughtful enough to bring in balloons!

A birthday wouldn't be a birthday without head injuries.

But don't worry, the pain didn't last long, only the bruise will. He was soon back to running and tumbling around as we watched for daddy from the window. Well, 'watched' as in jumped over the couch a couple of times.

A hat was discovered and Gabe was able to put it on all by himself for the first time ever, hence the hat in every upcoming picture:). Mommy was not allowed to remove said hat. Though I didn't mind, he looks like such a hipster that both Ryan and I were cracking up.

Yes, our 2 year old has his own Starbucks cup. A bday present from one of Ryan's coworkers. Pretty sure Gabe will refuse to drink water from anything else in the weeks to come. Enter the yuppie hipster.

Drum roll please...I have wanted to get a scooter for Gabe for a long while now. It was Gabe's big boy gift for his second birthday and he's already attached at the hip. Don't think I quite anticipated what a challenge it would be, but he's already starting to catch on. Only took a half hour to get 3 blocks to the park, but now look at him go:).

Gabe also had a bday present come through the mail from Nana and Papa, ahh the ways he loves Mickey Mouse and the stickers I'm finding everywhere!
