Leads a Dangerous Life

Once upon a time...not more than two months ago...Gabe lead a very cautious life. A part of Gabe I've really come to love and appreciate. Apparently along with spring fever comes danger and the wonderful joy of adventure! Thank you Lord for sunshine, but I'm pretty sure I may have a heart attack or two in the playground this year!

Seesaw...nice and safe. Since when did he learn to climb that latter??

Gabe now gets upset with me if I remind him there's a railing on steps. He would much prefer to launch himself up and down the steps. It took 3-4 tries at each step to get up without holding on...lots of balancing on his haunches and many stumbles backwards. That's not as bad as watching him try to launch down the steps unassisted. Keep having visions of him flat on his face. Pretty sure there will be a few bruises on his face this entire summer.

Now this one I enjoy...love the joy he finds in trying a few new ways to go down the slide. Thinks he's the coolest when he figures out how to get down like the big kids
