One drawback of living in Chicago is that both our families are out of town...and in different states from one another. We spend Thanksgiving with one side of our family and Christmas with the other and so we'll spend very few holidays at home in Chicago. So we decided to create our own holiday! We'll call it Christmas Continued:). The day started off with sleeping in (yup, even Gabe slept in), presents, Ann Sather cinnamon rolls! Yum:). And later in the day we headed of to see the Zoo Lights at Lincoln Park Zoo.
Gift for Gabe...I've been excited about this puzzle board for weeks. He has such fun with playing with the locks on our doors, thought he might like it. So far he mostly tries to eat the pieces.
Gift for Daddy: Gabe and I tried to put his footprints to canvas...it didn't work. But hey, we had fun trying!
