My Giraffe

So American Pediatrics (and everywhere else) recommends kids sleep without blankets or anything else in their crib until the age of one. Choking hazards and all that. Our debate now that Gabe's over one: keep it going with nothing in his crib or add in a stuffed animal, blankie or just plain old blankets. Gabe sleeps great at this point. Wondered if putting things in his crib would just wake him up...or end up being thrown on the floor and him crying till we come in.

This morning Gabe decided to take matters into his own hands:). We have a crocheted giraffe Ryan's cousin, Rachel, made for Gabe that sits on the nightstand in his room next to his crib. Apparently he's got a good reach! Gabe's been waking up super early since he caught a cold on Thursday, but not this morning. He's sleeping in. THANK YOY, RACHEL!
